There are several ways in which a person can become infertile. In the case of a woman, the most common factors are: An ovulation disorder, the presence of a sexual transmitted disease, unbalanced hormone levels and bad lifestyle choices. In men infertility is related to the production of sperm, having a low production (oligospermia) or lack of production (azoospermia).

One of the easiest way to improve your fertility is by changing your lifestyle for a healthier one. It will improve your fertility dramatically and can be the best you can do for your baby

Bad habits that can cause infertility in both men and women:

Using drugs, drinking alcohol and smoking.

Having a lot of tension in your life.

Eating unhealthy food, a lot of sugar and fat.

Doing a lot of exercise.

The use of lubricants while having sex

Most of these habits can be changed to improve your fertility, anyway sometimes there’s no turning point. For irreversible situations you can have the option to have a surgery. With it there’s a possibility to repair your reproductive system. This is most common for people over 35.

Infertility can be caused by Sexual Transmitted Diseases. These sicknesses can cause physical damage to your reproductive system, impending your ability to conceive as a woman. STD’s can cause infertility in both men and women. Men with STD’s can become affected on their conductive channels, those who transport the semen trough the reproductive system. A blockage of these channels can cause infertility.

Ovulation unbalances. When there are ovulation disorders it means that an egg doesn’t develop well or does in a irregular way. Medication can help but it doesn’t have a success guarantee.

Having menstrual periods randomly (or amenorrhea). There are a lot of causes for this condition, so the best thing to do is asking an expert for advice. Once the reasons of it are identified, is easy to deal with amenorrhea.

Getting pregnant can take its ups and downs. The patience of both partners will be on test, you and your partner must meet the perfect conditions before getting pregnant. Don’t get discouraged when things don’t go as planned, try to relax, if you take it slow this can be a very good opportunity to become more intimate with your couple. With the responsibilities that come with having a baby, you will be glad that you spent quality time with your partner.

For your information, here is some advice on getting pregnant. This advice can give you a sense of clarity and confidence on having a healthier pregnancy.

Visit an expert in pregnancy: Even if you don’t have any problem or sickness, a doctor can give you advice about all the aspects you have to take into account before getting pregnant. Your doctor can be of special help if you have heart problems or diabetes, ask for his or her advice.

Having a healthy life, eating well, avoiding bad habits: Smoking affects the body for the conception of a child, getting pregnant will be harder for a couple that smoke. Alcohol and drugs are harmful for the baby, try to leave them when trying to get pregnant. Having a healthy lifestyle will help the development of the child. Try to exercise and have healthy food on your plate, it will help you to have a safer pregnancy. Doing exercise will influence your weight, by having a balanced weight it will help you to get pregnant faster.

Learn to predict your ovulation time, having sex on the right periods will increase your chances of getting pregnant. Try to have more sex than normal during ovulation. This advice on getting pregnant can be easy to follow and will help you to avoid unnecesary frustration by focusing on the best days for conception. You can predict your ovulation cycle with an ovulation test kit and following an ovulation calendar to determine your most fertile days.

Relaxation is a great helper for getting pregnant: Try to relax while getting pregnant, don’t make pregnancy a burden, instead make it a beautiful journey to travel with your partner. Be happy for the time you will be spending with your partner during this period, enjoy the journey.

The average labor lasts nine hours for first-time mothers and six-and-a-half for women laboring again – and that’s from the onset of regular, painful contractions, occurring five to three minutes apart. So you will have plenty of time to know when you are in labor.

Identifying early labor:

Early labor is an early phase of the labor and delivery process. If you ask pregnancy care professionals about the early signs of labor, most of them will tell you that your labor has started when you feel mild, irregular contractions. With contractions you might feel pressure in the pelvis, backache or discomfort that is similar to menstrual cramping.

The early labor contractions, also called as Braxton Hicks contractions, are not efficient enough to deliver our baby, they are important in the prebirth process of effacement, early dilation of the cervix, and positioning your baby for the birth.

There are other early signs of labor:

Loose Bowel Movements

Shivering or Trembling

Vaginal Discharge

Lightening
